Eagles
Once almost extinct, American Bald Eagles are now nesting throughout much of the Driftless Region. They can be seen soaring over open water, off the peaks of the bluffs, fishing from the ice near open water, and occasionally soaring over Vernon Vineyards. Eagles also eat rodents and other small animals when fish are not readily available.
